Things to consider:

Have both parents been tested for the issues Ridgebacks can develop?

Are the parents free of Food and Skin Allergies?

Do any of the dogs behave shy or sketchy?

Does the breeder specify on their contract that in the event you can no longer care for the animal that they will
take them back?

It is the breeders responsibility to care for the animals they brought in to this world when you are no longer
able to do so. A breeder that does not have a contract, and does not list it on their contract is irresponsible
and only adds to the amount of dogs in rescue and in animal control.

These are all things you should be looking at when you are purchasing a puppy. Do not look for a companion
only with your heart, use your head as well so that you can make an educated decision on your newest family
member.
